JHS is one of the newest schools working with A+ College Ready
Jacksonville High School is one of the newest schools working with A+ College Ready, a statewide initiative to dramatically increase success in Advanced Placement (AP) math, science and English courses. JHS will receive training and support worth at least $189,000 over the next three years, and the school has committed to increasing enrollment in these courses from 43 this year to 85 next year. Passing scores on these Advanced Placement exams are projected to increase from 14 in '08-09 to 50 next year.
