Attention Juniors and Seniors:

The Rural Health Leaders Pipeline of The University of Alabama is sponsoring the Rural Health Scholars Program (RHSP) for current juniors and the Rural Minority Health Scholars Program (RMHSP) for college bound high school graduates.  Students who are selected can:

Get a head start in college preparation needed for professional school, earn college courses in Chemistry or Creative Writing, spend 5 weeks away from home living on campus at The University of Alabama, and participate in seminars and field trips.

Requirements include:

Resident of Rural Alabama for 5 years, taken the ACT and scored at least 21, currently enrolled as a high school junior with a B average (3.0), two letters of recommendation, statement of interest essay.

Tuition, room, and board costs covered by the program.  Program dates are May 28 - June 28, 2017.

Interested students should see to download an application.  Applications should be postmarked by March 15, 2017.
