Gifted students in attending the Renaissance Festival field trip April 29 need to come by Mrs. Mullinax's room for a permission slip. This trip is open to all gifted students in grades 7-12 on a first come first serve basis.
The Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day will be on Saturday morning March 6th. All Key Club members will be expected to take a shift and sell tickets. You may sign up outside Mrs. Wilson's Room. First come - first serve!! IF you want a later shift, sign up soon !!!
ALL Key CLub members must sell the Pancake Day ticket attached to the Pancake Day reminder. The money is due to Mrs. Wilson on March 3rd. EVERY MEMBER recieved at least one ticket, so EVERYONE must turn in their ticket money! Extra tickets may be purchased from Mrs. Wilson.
There will be a Key club meeting after school Tuesday March 2nd in the library. ALL members must attend.
Anyone interested in trying out for cheerleading, Jr High or Varsity needs to sign up outside Mrs. Vice's office. Clinic will be the week of March 8, with tryouts on March 12. You must have a current physical and insurance form on file. All paperwork must be completed and turned in before March 8.
Tuskegee University is hosting Spring 2010 Open House on Saturday, March 27. Information concerning student life, academic and student services, and campus tours will be provided. See PrepHQ for additional information. Pre-registration forms may be picked up in the guidance office.
Congrats to the boys' soccer team for Friday night's shut-out against Southside 4-0: 3 goals scored by Jackson Pearson, and 1 goal by Tyler Cunnigham. Joe Ferguson was in goal.

Sophmores and Juniors appyling for JHS Ambassador are reminded that applications are due to Mrs. Stallings no later than Friday, March 5.
Information concerning Gadsen State Performing Arts Scholorships is now available in the guidance office. These scholorships are awarded in the following areas: Art, Music, Band, Theatre, and Dance. Southern Belle auditions are also being conducted. Auditions will be held through mid- April. Interested students may see Mrs. Stallings for information conerning how to set up an audition and apply.
