School Closure Feeding Program
The JCS meal pick up day has changed for the week of April 12th. Meals will be distributed on Friday, April 17th at Jacksonville High School from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. We hope that this change will help with not interfering with virtual lessons. Due to the increase in cases of COVID-19 in our county, we provided two weeks of meals this past Monday, April 6th. The Alabama Department of Public Health, CDC, and NIH have stated this week and next week are critical in limiting the spread of COVID-19. We are working diligently to ensure the safety of our staff, parents, and students. It is our goal to continue to meet the needs of the student’s physical health by providing nutritious meals. These are unprecedented times. Thank you for bearing with us as our School Closure Plan is fluid and changes from day to day.

Please go to and fill out the form by 9 pm on April 16, 2020, to pick up meals. You will need to fill out this form even if you filled out the previous forms. The guardian's name listed will need to be the person who will be picking up the meals. Also, due to new USDA COVID-19 guidelines we now have to ask for the names of all children you will be picking up for.

Should you need meals prior to Friday, April 17th, the Calhoun County School System has open meal sites just like ours. They are open at each elementary school on Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this pandemic together. We are stronger together.
Medication Pick Up
The nurses will be at JHS and KSE on Tuesday April 7th, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for medication to be picked up by appointment only. You must contact the nurses by phone or text for your appointment time.
Pull to the front of the school at your appointed time, and remain in your cars. Notify the nurse by text when you arrive, and the medication will be brought out.
